Cabin :: aerial II

3.11.2011 – Friday

Today Dad set up another airplane ride. We were up for a little over 2 hours and covered 238.1 miles at an average speed of about 110 miles per hour (data recorded from an Amod  AGL3080 GPS logger and then entered into gpsvisualizer.com). We flew out of Ford Airport, Iron Mountain, MI at about 8:45 a.m. Bruce piloted the 4-seat Piper and we gave directions as we went. Bruce, our pilot, did a spectacular job flying a circle around a point, allowing me to get 360° coverage of several points of interest.
